Training:
Laura received her Bachelor's Degree in the field of Sociology
from Trinity International University in Deerfield,
Illinois. Through her studies in Sociology, Laura learned a great deal about
human nature and gained a lot of invaluable communication
and people skills. Laura developed effective ways
to connect with many different types and classes of
people. That knowledge has been beneficial
as Laura envisions the target audience for a voice or
on-camera project.
Laura went on to study radio broadcasting and media communications at Brown College in Mendota Heights, MN. After graduating from Brown, Laura spent several years as a morning radio personality. She also received vocal training, studied acting, took singing lessons, and performed in a variety of school and community plays and musical productions.

Voice Description:
Laura's voice is friendly, warm and upbeat. Her clients often tell her, "I can hear the smile in your voice!" Her recordings are confident yet unassuming.
For commercials, her voice can
be soothing and inviting or fun, fresh and energetic. For
narrations, Laura's voice is credible, articulate and
sincere. For presentations and corporate phone recordings,

Voiceover
and On-Camera Experience:
Laura
has voiced hundreds of radio and television commercials for all types of businesses.
In addition to commercials, Laura voices tutorials, narrations, training videos and other corporate and educational recordings. She has recorded YouTube videos, real estate videos and radio station promos. Laura has a soft spot for charities and non profits. She records promotional videos and voiceovers for churches and has recorded PSAs for the Stop Smoking campaign and the March of Dimes.
Laura also specializes in video narrations for private events such as weddings, birthdays, graduations, family reunions and retirement parties. Let us help you showcase your memorable day!
Laura began doing on camera work with QCTV in 2004 where she hosted several programs, edited show content and wrote and delivered children's movie reviews. Laura continues to do video and on camera work through Laura Evans Studio, including infomercials, website introductions and promtional videos.

Equipment:
Laura Evans Studio uses high quality recording software and equipment to produce superior recordings that can be delivered in either an uncompressed (WAV or AIFF) or compressed (MP3 - most common, WMA or FLAC) format. Smaller files can be emailed. Larger files can be uploaded to a cloud storage site, such as Dropbox or Google Drive.
Turnaround
time is typically within 48 hours, but completion times
will vary based on the size of the project. E-mail us
with the specifics of your request, and we will quickly respond with a more precise turnaround time.
